Brettโ€™s Forehands - Beware with the new weapon in town!

This is your Forehands Brett.  From the first shots weโ€™ve noticed how your right elbow was so tucked in to the body. Youโ€™re improved that in less than 10 minutes and your shots at the end looked so much better. Great improvement!

01: First Forehand of the day:

The loading of the shoulders only got to 90 degrees to the net, almost perpendicular ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Very Good wide open Stance ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€

Good grip ๐Ÿ˜…

Solid wrist at contact ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘Œ

Late preparation on the bounce of the ball.  ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

Right elbow very low on the loading and turn of the shoulders ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Right elbow very low and extremely tucked into the body at contact and follow through which causes very limited extension on the follow through ๐Ÿคช

02;Second Forehand

Youโ€™ve improved your rotation! Your shoulders have turned more than perpendicular to the net!!๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿ‘‹

Although the ball didnโ€™t go over the net you seem to have more acceleration through the ball ๐Ÿ‘

Stance is ok, but  bit close to the ball. ๐Ÿซค

Left hand across is even closer to the body than on the first shot ๐Ÿ™„

Much better shot overall! ๐Ÿ˜€

03: Third Forehand:

Pointing your index index finger on the grip ๐Ÿ˜ฉ๐Ÿ˜ฉ๐Ÿซฃ

Less rotation than on the second shot โ˜น๏ธ

Very late preparation on the bounce ๐Ÿคฏ

Left hand is more across the body ๐Ÿ˜‡

Right elbow is a bit less tucked in to the body. ๐Ÿ˜…

Contact more in front of the body โ˜บ๏ธ

Shot number 2 still the best one.

004: forehand number 4

No pointing with the index finger please Brett ๐Ÿซฃ

Great preparation!! Notice how youโ€™ve prepared Better on the bounce of the ball! ๐Ÿ†

Rotation not as good as the second shot but acceptable. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Right elbow high on preparation ๐Ÿ™‚

Left hand more across the body ๐Ÿ˜

Right elbow still tucked in at contact ๐Ÿ˜ข

Great acceleration through the ball. Better extension and wind screen wiper! ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Best forehand! ๐Ÿ’Ž

Shots number 5 and 6:

The index finger is not pointing anymore!! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜

Right elbow high on the load of the shoulders ๐Ÿ‘

Good Shots Brett ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Shot number 7:

Fixed index finger on the right hand! ๐Ÿ˜‹
Rotation could be better ๐Ÿง
Left hand across the body is further out ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
Right elbow is still tucked in ๐Ÿ˜
Youโ€™ve opened the racquet head on contact and thatโ€™s why the ball went up to the sky ๐Ÿคญ
You can even catch the racquet up with your left hand on the finish position ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿ‘‹
Overall a very good swing,

Shot number 8,9 and 10

Right elbow Up,, earlier preparation, better index finger on the grip, contact in front, catching the racquet at the end.

Much better shots!  Itโ€™s starting to look easier! ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Shot number 11

Another great shot! That one looked much more relaxed!! ๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ˜‡ Your body seemed more balanced as youโ€™re hitting the ball. ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†

Still work in progress, but itโ€™s getting hotter and hotter.

Check now your first forehand and compare it with your last one! Itโ€™s a huge improvement ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹

 Great forehands Brett ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ
